This is a good dictionary, but because of the encyclopaedic-ness, searching for small words like "or" or "with" returns way to many results. If there is a good way to fix this, it would be nice. I would also really appreciate a Hawaiian grammar reference app, as there currently isnt one anywhere on the app store. Mahalo loa au iā ʻoe.

Needs updates
Needs to update with alot more Hawaiian words. Not worth 3.99$
Not worth the $3.99
The description says that you can search for anything, not true. Not sure how the selection of words to include was done. I could find "tomorrow" but not "today". I could not find "keia lā" or "lā". Some phrases couldve been eliminated that are hardly used in everyday language and replaced with more common words and phrases. The search function disappears when scrolling down. So you need to scroll all the way back up to use it. You could spend the same amount of time searching for translation on the Internet for free.

Great detail, could be easier to navigate
Im reading my Hawaiian bible and using dictionary assistance. This app will be easier to use once you can jump to a section instead of having to scroll down to browse. You can not (yet) type the first three letters of a word and find it in a list. Also its true the search field is only at the very top. I love the detail and content, and Ill be even happier as additional navigational updates are added. Thanks!

With the new version this app went from good to great. It is a really good learning tool and reference resource and is a steal for the price. The developers keep improving it and adding material. Highly recommended.
Difficult to navigate
This seems to be a very comprehensive alphabetical list. I cannot yet search for a word and just go to it. Scroll, scroll, scroll down. Forever. This app really needs an index similar to the contact app. And when I type in a word to search such as "wai," I wish it would GO to that word, not just find "Hawaiian" in the first "A" definition listed. Scroll, scroll, scroll. Not fun.
