The app is good for looking at your balances and making mobile payments. They just added the ability to make deposits which is great so I have gone from my original rating of 3 stars to 4. If they want to get a 5 star rating they need to allow you to setup a default account to make your deposit in. The way it is setup now is I have to scroll through all my accounts to find my checking account to make my deposit and if youre depositing more than one check you need to keep putting in the account you want to deposit it to. If nothing else keep the account you select the first time for all checks in that deposit. If they give you a default account option than all you have to do is enter the amount and take the picture of the front and back of the checks. The last thing they need to catchup with the other financial institutions is to use finger print technology instead of a password.

Good Start
Not Ready For Prime Time
This is another example of an app that has great ambitions but is simply unable to close the deal. My biggest gripe is with the "check deposit" feature. Yes, it would be great to be able to scan a check and the funds magically appear in ones UBS account. But the actual process is so cumbersome, so prone to errors thats its much, much easier to just endorse and mail in the check or stop by a UBS branch. So I see this app as basically a beta version of what it claims to be. Unfortunately, UBS markets the app as fully functional rather than beta and in doing so raises false expectations with their clients. And thats never good business practice.

App is good - 3.5/5. Mobile deposit and bill pay functions work well. Please improve by enabling Touch ID login and adding performance reporting by account and portfolio. Cash management account reporting could be improved by adding spend tracker by category.
