I love the vancouver sun and loved the idea of an epaper complete with ads etc but after the first day of downloading the app I have not been able to get any other issues...

Van Sun e edition
Neither paper will download When it does it is very slow but never reliable. I get the Globe and it downloads quickly ,, a very simple process just click on the app.
Clueless
This is pretty awful. That some newspapers think that delivering a facsimile of the print paper will satisfy anyone mystifies me, though I guess it’s the result of people who simply have no idea about the digital world and probably still get the print paper. The navigation is inscrutable—clicking on an article on the home page takes me somewhere completely different, for example—but the main issue is that it’s just a punt: why not focus on making the “real” Vancouver Sun app better? The New York Times does a pretty good job, and they’re continually improving. Have a look at that and try to follow their lead, perhaps.
Vancouver Sun hopeless ePaper
The application stopped downloading daily papers December 17, 2014. Today is JANUARY 16, 2015, a month later. We are still being charged but there is no phone number to call or email address to contact. Unacceptable.
Finally works again
Thank you for updating and making the app not freeze anymore. Can finally enjoy reading the paper on my iPad again.
Some improvements and some needed improvements
I use an iPad Pro with this app and welcome the two-page view in landscape orientation. However, i observed that sometimes one of the pages is not scaled correctly and therefore one page is fully visible whereas the other is only partially visible. The two-page view also limits the amount of magnification.
