Description
This is the official app for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon. The app boasts a variety of exciting features and lets you find and track participants along the race route, helping you to keep up with split times, finishing positions and results throughout the day.
The Virgin Money London Marathon 2017 mobile app, powered by TATA Consultancy Services, includes a wide range of features that provide runners and spectators with important information relating to 2017 event.
You can use the app to locate points of interest (distance markers, First Aid Points, Drinks Stations, Live Bands and Pub Venues), so whether you’re a first-time spectator or a marathon veteran, you’ll get everything you need for the best possible experience on Race Day.

FIND YOUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES
Search for your ‘favourite’ runners (friends, family, celebrities and the elites).
This feature allows you to search for your favorite runner and follow them as they complete the race. You can see their progress at every 5K split and track their pace. The app will also predict what time your runner will reach the next 5K checkpoint based on their current pace.
View your favorite runners on the interactive course map as they make their way around the course, to ensure you get to the best viewing points in time to support them.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
App users tracking their favorite runners will receive a notification after the runner crosses the Finish Line.
BE INSPIRED
Check the leaderboard to keep track of all the elite action, including the World Para Athletics Marathon World Cup.
RAISE A GLASS TO YOUR RUNNER
Discover a list of pubs and restaurants taking part in special events, and watch with a pint in hand as the participants stream past.
