Vital Tones PTSD is a powerful brainwave sound therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition thats triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.
Most people who have experienced a traumatizing event will not develop PTSD. People who experience assault-based trauma are more likely to develop PTSD, as opposed to people who experience non-assault based trauma such as witnessing trauma, accidents, and fire events. Regions of the brain associated with hyporesponsive, diminished volumes and neuronal integrity are the hypothalamus, inferior parietal lobule, inferior/middle temporal gyrus, medial prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, superior frontal gyrus, anterior cingulate cortex, orbifrontal cortex.
Vital Tones PTSD consist of 3 different sessions.
• Session 1 stimulates:
- the hippocampus
- the medial frontal gyrus
- the anterior cingulate
Session 1 is 22 minutes long.
• Session 2 stimulates:
- the pons
- the midbrain
- the pineal gland
- the orbitofrontal cortex
Session 2 is 22 minutes long.
• Session 3 stimulates:
- parts of the hypothalamus
- parts of the thalamus
- the dentate gyrus
- parts of the hippocampus
- the septal nucleus
- the nucleus accumbens
Session 3 is 22 minutes long.
