Allein um die Bewertung schreiben zu können, habe ich die 1,29 GB geladen. Dass diese "Waterkaarten" aber nicht (!!) gratis sind, erfährt man nur, wenn man im Store auf das "... Mehr" klickt und weiter unten dann lesen kann: "De app werkt allen met een geldig abonnement. De eerste 7 dagen gebruik is gratis." Da man mit einem Boot nicht so schnell unterwegs ist, wie mit einem Fahrzeug, ist die kostenlose (Test-) Zeit eindeutig zu kurz. Aufgrund dieser ultrakurzen kostenlosen Testzeit kann ich zu dem App selbst leider nichts schreiben; wir fahren erst nächste Woche mit dem Schiff. Ärgerlich ist außerdem, dass als Sprache bei iTunes "Englisch" angegeben ist, das App aber ausschließlich in niederländischer Sprache ist. ANWB hat es doch nun wirklich nicht nötig, in dieser Art Abonnenten zu ködern. Hier sollte die komplette erste Version, also die 1,29 GB auch kostenlos sein, zumal dafür auch rd. 45 min Ladezeit notwendig sind. Spitzen App, die Abo-Preise sind auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse (1 Woche, 1 Monat oder 1 Jahr) abgestimmt und für das hervorragende und umfassende Kartenmaterial absolut moderat, wenn man die Preise für digitale Wasserkarten ansonsten kennt.
Top App!!!
Habe am Wochenende einen Kurztrip auf den holländischen Kanälen gemacht und die App getestet. Ich bin total begeistert!!! Das Programm läuft absolut stabil und ist in der Darstellung sehr genau. Auch die aktuelle Positionsangabe des Bootes stimmt 1:1mit der Realität überein. Gegenüber den gedruckten Karten habe ich mit dieser App den Vorteil, dass ich mir knifflige Gebiete, Abfahrten und Tiefenangaben stark vergrößern kann :-) Die differenzierte Preisgestaltung, abhängig von der Anwendungszeit, finde ich sehr gerecht und auch moderat. Das Programm ist auf jeden Fall das Geld wert! Den 5. Stern gibt es, wenn die Kartendarstellung im Querformat möglich ist und die Beschreibungen in englischer oder noch besser auch in deutscher Sprache zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Vom Ansatz gut aber... und teuer
Die App ist vom Ansatz her gut, aber es fehlt wohl an einigen Dingen. Wie schon jemand schrieb kommt nachher, nach sehr langem laden die Ernuechterung. Keine lite version sondern nur fuer einige Tage kurz zeitlich begrenzt. Man kann zwar die Funktionen testen, aber wenn man nicht in Holland wohnt, kann man nicht sagen, ob es funktioniert. Die Freischaltung im Abo ist m. E. viel zu teuer, da einige Maengel. Es gibt keine Sprachauswahl. Das hollaendische ist zwar gut verstaendlich aber man sollte umschalten koennen. Die Anzeige funktioniert nur im Hochformat. Ich habe auch keine Routenfunktion gefunden. Dieselben Informationen sind auf der Papierform billiger zu bekommen. Fazit: Sprachauswahl und freie Bildschirmanzeige einfuegen und vom hohen Preis runter. Dann gibt es mehr Sterne.
Sehr gelungene Portierung der Karten + Almanak
Eine tolle App wie ich finde. Endlich muss ich nicht mehr die dicken ANWB-Wateralmanak-Bücher wälzen, sondern kann die NL-Karten samt allen Informationen über Häfen, Betonnung, Schifffahrtsstrassen etc. direkt aus der App ziehen. Die Karten stehen den Papierkarten in nichts nach. Nun ist auch noch der Landscape-Mode möglich und daher gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne ! Nun fehlt nur noch, wie schon seit Jahren bei den Büchern, die deutsche Übersetzung ;-)
Perfekt!
Wir waren an diesem Wochenende in und um Sneek unterwegs, die App funktioniert perfekt. Wir haben keine Papierkarten mehr benötigt.
Echt brauchbar
Ich hatte anfangs Probleme, die automatische Verlängerung des Accounts, vom Iphone aus, auszuschalten, was zwischenzeitlich behoben ist. Nachdem ich die App wieder einmal benutzt hatte, ging alles einwandfrei. Aber Achtung ! nicht vergessen, die Verlängerung auszuschalten, sonst kann es teuer werden. Ansonsten gut zu gebrauchen.
