Its mildly addictive, kind of like Bookworm. I find it unclear why and when I should be using the power-ups, but I like the per-game goals (get 800 pts, get "x" word, etc). I think its more of a $.99 game than $1.99.

Could be perfect
This app could be absolutely enthralling if it werent for the crashes. Whenever I get a notification while playing Wordbox, it closes, and I lose whatever progress Ive made in the level Im working on. It is proof of the addictive nature of the game that after the fourth crash in the same game, Im still playing it. I learned if I put my iPad into Airplane mode or my iPhone on "Do not disturb" then no more crashes and I played for hours. Fix those bugs and this is the PERFECT game for Wordies.
