Description
On August 22-30 Ukraine is hosting the 2016 FAI World Championships for Space Models for the first time.
300 competitors from 20 countries are competing for the championship in 8 different space models classes. Engineers from leading aerospace companies are representing their countries on the competition field.
On top of the main competition there will be contests for amateur enthusiasts:
- S2/P rockets carrying “space eggs” contest. Not only competitors of the Championships, but casual enthusiasts can also participate in the contest and try their hand to win the grand prize of 4 000 Euro. Detailed information is available here http://s2p.frms.ua/.
- Copters Race for drone pilots.
We invite citizens and guests of Lviv Region to visit great festival where heated competition, educational workshops and outdoor activities will come together to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Let`s overcome gravity together!
