Way back in the mists of time, VLC released VLC 2.00 and it was good.
Some people dont like it though. Perhaps they have old machines, perhaps they dont like the new release, perhaps they just like old things.
This remote is for those people.
If youre an ordinary person, then please update your VLC to 2.0 and get the latest version of VLC Remote.
It works better, it looks better, and it has more features.

Its an old release of VLC Remote that supports VLC all the way back to 0.9.10
It is repackaged as a universal release (iPhone and iPad support)
all the basics are here:

✔ Universal app fully supported for iPhone and iPad
✔ Stop, Play and Pause
✔ Full DVD controls
✔ Control volume, position, next track and previous track
✔ Turn fullscreen on and off
✔ Control subtitles, aspect ratio, audio track and delays
✔ Use the picker control for fine control of volume and position
✔ View the playlist and play files from it
✔ Free setup helper quickly configures VLC for use with the remote
Some things have been removed. Notably, skin support (to allow the universal build) and YouTube support (because Youtube keep changing, and VLC doesnt keep updating old builds)
