Never again forget to stop your parking meter!
Know that feeling when you get a parking bill which is way higher than what you expected, just because you forgot to stop the meter? Those days are over now. Parq! detects when you drive away from your parking spot and sends you a reminder notification to stop the parking session, so that you never pay too much. Additionally, you can use Parq! to automatically prepare and send the start/stop messages to your parking meter operator.
When "Notify me" is active, Parq! will detect that you are driving away from your parking spot, and will send you a snoozable reminder notification. Tapping this notification will bring you to the main Parq! screen where you can stop the current parking session with just two taps.
How to use the app, when youre only using the "Notify Me" feature?
1. When you park your car, turn on the “Notify Me” switch.
2. When you pick up your car, turn off the “Notify Me” switch.
3. If you forgot to turn off the switch, Parq!will send you a notification when it detects that you’re driving. Tapping the notification will bring you to the main screen.
How to use the app, if you’re also using the SMS/text messages to start and stop your parking session?
1. When you park your car, use Parq! to start the parking session by SMS/text message. “Notify Me” will automatically be turned on.
2. When you pick up your car, use Parq! to stop the parking session by SMS/txt message. “Notify Me” will automatically be turned off.
3. When you drive away whilst “Notify Me” is still active, Parq! will send you a reminder notification. Tapping once will bring you to the Parq! main screen to stop the parking session. Alternatively, tap long/hard on the notification to snooze. The notification will come back after the snoozing period.

In the Netherlands, examples include:
