The ACU Optimist app brings you all the current stories and images from the Abilene Christian University student news network to your iPad. Keep up to date with whats going on at ACU by interacting with dynamic content in a whole new way.
The ACU Optimist is updated dynamically to deliver the most current content in the News, Opinion, Arts & Leisure, and Sports sections. Each section is filled with news, photo and sports updates as the news happens.
Version 1.0 of the ACU Optimist App features:
• Dynamic content selector to allow you to move between sections
• Access to over five years of story archives
• Photo montages
• Updated ACU Wildcat Sports scores
ACU Optimist iPad application was designed and developed by a cross-disciplinary team of ACU undergraduate students working under mentorship of ACU faculty from the departments of Journalism and Mass Communication, Art and Design and the School of Information Technology and Computing.
The Optimist is an award-winning publication of the JMC Network, the student media organization at Abilene Christian University. Founded in 1912, The Optimist continues to be a leader in training journalists for expanding media opportunities throughout the world.
