AfroAnswer is the premiere online resource center for businesses and consumers in the African American community. We are here to connect Black owned and managed businesses, contractors and resources to the consumer via the website and mobile app.
Our goal is to help facilitate economic opportunities and social advancement by connecting Black owned and managed opportunities with the consumer; and we need your participation! The Black community in the United States is the second largest minority group, and the first according to some sources. However, it is one of the most underrepresented segments of our society when it comes to advertising, marketing dollars and employment. We are here to change that by connecting our wealth, intelligence and ingenuity.
The owners of AfroAnswer are driven by a sense of giving back and most importantly the empowerment of the Black community through collaborative economics. Although the rate of Black ownership of businesses is increasing, the success of those businesses are subpar compared to the greater U.S. economy. Furthermore, unemployment rates are still dismal. We are mindful of these matters and in an effort to lower the unemployment rates and enable business to access their immediate talent pool AfroAnswer offers the Job Listings which is free for all.
