Taking a family trip this summer? Download this free application and become the family expert locator for U.S. states, national parks, and places of interest. Both educational and entertaining, Alien Tour Guide features cartoon space aliens, outrageous science fiction sound effects, and animated UFO landings!
Two game modes are included. In "states only" mode youre given the proper name of a U.S. state. Identify the state on your U.S. map using the touchscreen. Get it right and an alien ship lands on the spot! Touch wrong and three states are highlighted to help you along. Youll be able to locate all 50 states in no time with blinding speed and precision!
"Grand tour" mode is a little harder. Here youre given a major U.S. landmark to locate. Touch on the state where the landmark is located and land those aliens at their destination. Over 150 landmarks of interest are included in the tour. Landmark types include: key historic sites, national parks and monuments, places in the news, sites of cultural interest, even some state and city nicknames. Youll know em all before long, and may even discover a few places youd like to visit.
Detailed scores are given following each round of ten randomly generated questions. Challenge your parents, teachers, and friends and see whos the best tour guide!
