All OK? is a tool that allows those closest to you to continue to live an independent and private life but still have help in case they need it. Simply set an idle time for the phone between 15 minutes and 8 hours. As long as the phone is moved within that time all will be considered normal.
If the phone hasnt been moved All OK? will send a notification, with location, to the users trusted and pre-approved "subscribers" and inform them of the situation. At no other time does All OK? store or communicate the users location.
If help is needed immediately one can simply press the "Alert Now!" button and the trusted "subscribers" will be notified along with location.
The app shows online status so "subscribers" will know the app is running. They will also see a phones battery level to ensure that the charge status is ok. The app will not send alerts during sleep hours due to the user approximating their sleep schedule.
Subscribing is done securely with a combination of the All OK? ID and a unique user code generated when one signs up. No one can invite themselves to subscribe without having both ID and the security code.
Subscribers can be cancelled at any time by either party.
We understand that leading an independent and private life is paramount for many. All OK? leverages todays technology to help people live that life while still connecting them with help when they need it.
This app does have continued use of GPS running in the background which can dramatically decrease battery life. We will do our best to ensure that the consumption is as small as possible and will continue to make it better and better going forward.
