iHuman Readers is an English children’s reading app designed for Chinese non-native speakers of English. Each reader is graded based on both the individual user’s English reading ability and interests, providing a customized learning plan to support children in becoming confident readers!

Choose from 18 book series covering a wide variety of topics. iHuman Readers features eight series from Oxford Reading Tree which contains more than 300 books to choose from. With fourteen reading levels, you’re sure to find readers that meet your child’s exact reading level build their vocabulary and reading confidence. iHuman Readers makes the transition from graded level picture books to chapter books a cinch.
2.Leveled readers for Chinese children curated by Oxford experts
Our readers were curated and designed specifically to target the needs of Chinese Children in collaboration with experts Andrea Quincey and Dave Leach. Andrea Quincey is the director of young adult books at Oxford University Press and a well-known expert in graded reading, and Dave Leach is an assessment expert at Oxford University Press and former head of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).
3.Oxford English Assessment accurately determines your child’s reading level
An impressive team of experts from Oxford University Press together with a team of professors from Chinese universities worked together to develop an accurate assessment system specifically catered to Chinese children. The Oxford Primary English Reading Assessment (OPERA), provides a comfortable, unintimidating testing environment for children to determine an accurate reading level and their individualized learning needs.

Our smart algorithm closely analyzes your child’s daily reading habits and adjusts the reading difficulty accordingly. Receive book recommendations based on your child’s preferences, interests and reading ability, as well as personalized reading tasks to provide the most effective and efficient learning cycle for each unique reader.
5.A process that promotes critical thinking as well as literacy
Our ten interactive and fun learning plans with high quality animated demonstration videos encourage your child to think actively while reading. Not only will your child’s reading improve, but they will learn to think critically and express their own opinions on what they read. To strengthen both reading comprehension and fluency, each picture book contains three read aloud options as well as timely feedback provided by artificial intelligence software.
