PinYin missing
App would be MUCH more useful if it contained the PinYin for the province name (corresponding to character on the plate). Should have read previous reviews. Would appreciate an update.
Disappointing buy
For a paid app, it feels cheaply slapped together. I was hoping for some information explaining the distinctions between license plates in China (including government plates) and reliable maps, not just a Google Maps pin stuck in the middle of nowhere. Since many "cities" in China cover huge areas, it would be much more useful to see shaded areas of a map (that doesnt required internet access to view) indicating the scope of a plates distribution.
