“设计微梦想”是2013上海设计之都活动周全新推出、借助互联网与手机APP软件实现全民参与传递“设计需求”及“设计梦想”、汇聚设计智慧的互动平台。

在该互动平台上，市民可以用手机相机拍摄下自己生活中不合理的设计，写下自己认为设计不合理的理由，提出如何进行改善或改善方向，并提供“梦想中的设计”照片。照片可以是手绘稿、也可以是曾看到过的国内外所设计的产品图片。

参与互动的市民在了解别人的设计微梦想后，能表达自己的看法，提供更合理的解决问题的建议。同时，该平台将邀请专业设计师共同参与，为各种创意设计提供专业的建议与帮助。

设计微梦想希望通过一个新媒体平台，让市民以最简单的方式参与到为“城市设计”中，为城市的发展提出更好的建议。
