The ArtDeco theme of the game ties in with the history of Backgammon as it grew and evolved in the New York clubs and societies of the 1920s. In an effort to capture this essence we bring you the game of Backgammon in the
timeless style of ArtDeco.
With multiple levels of AI to suit beginners and more advanced players, many features make gameplay feel intuitive and easy. The autosave and resume feature allows you to play the game as it suits you. If you dont have time
to finish a round, dont fret. Just exit the game, the next time you start it up youll be back at the start of the round you were playing.
You can challenge other players with the Peer to Peer multiplayer functionality included in the game. Using GameCenter for online play, and Bluetooth connections for games with other local iOS devices.
NB: There is no match play option currently; the doubling cube, match play rules and options are not used at present.
Note that there is no competitive ranking in the online component as we are focused on casual gaming amongst friends.

3. You need to have an Internet connection that is not behind a firewall.
4. Via the Online P2P button - invite a friend to play.
5. To receive invites from your friends you will need to have notifications enabled.

If these provisions are not met you will not be able to partake in online multiplayer.

Kinderkram, bestenfalls...
Hier hat sich außer dem Grafiker keiner Mühe gegeben. Nichts, aber auch gar nichts, was die taktische Komponente des Spiels ausmacht, wurde hier umgesetzt. Kein Dopplerwürfel, keine Turnierregeln, kein Zähler, keine Spielstände (von Statistiken gar nicht zu reden). So bleibt es auf dem Niveau von Mensch-ärgere-Dich-nicht. Zugegeben - irgendwo steht es im Kleingedruckten, dass das alles irgendwann in einem Update kommen soll; aber auf dem Icon ist ein Dopplerwürfel zu sehen, den es dann im Spiel gar nicht gibt... Die Spielstärke des Programms kann damit auch nicht bewertet werden. Wenigstens bescheißt die KI (auf den ersten Blick) nicht so krass wie bei zahlreichen anderen Backgammon-Apps. Apple ist hier dringend gefordert, Qualitätssicherung zu betreiben. 250.000 Apps, darunter Dutzende Backgammons - und kaum eine ist auch nur ansatzweise brauchbar! Warum gibts denn keine seit Jahren bewährte Jellyfish- oder Snowie-Engine fürs iPhone, sondern zu 90 Prozent unbrauchbaren Schrott?

nach dem letzten update hängt sich das Programm mitten im Spiel auf. Auch nach kompletten Ausschalten des iPods stoppt er wieder an der gleichen Stelle. Nichts geht mehr. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK
nice graphic, poor game play
good: somehow the game has a nice pseudo 3D graphic engine. still the graphic seems to be kind of static and not rendered. Id call it "nice try" Thats the best I can say about this app. not so good: - no dices to double - no scoring - no tournament rules - very limited settings - not user friendly user interface - it alowed illegal moves (you can jump 4 fields if you have a double 2 even if the second field is blocked) There are several other much better implementations of Backgammon available such as "Backgammon HD"

Best Backgammon App
Been waiting a long time for a good Backgammon app. Its finally here. Fantastic graphics and AI. It crashed once but when I started up the app I was able to finish the game. Sweet. It would be nice to see an online version in a future update.
