I have tried to make a compact and practical content about "99 names of Allah" on iOS for those who need a source like this. I have faced with various lists during my research, finally assumed this one as the main list. Because this list is common, known and accepted for many Islamic societies and sources. People can memorize or review these names with this app quickly. Also there are some different lists for those societies and sources. So, the number of names may be more than 99, but generally this one is assumed as Asma-ul Husna.

The user of this app should remind that fact; this app should be a beginning to learn and understand the Asma-ul Husna, for detailed information, they should make research further. Also a translated text can not be reflect the original meanings completely. Please review other books and sources.

Important facts about Asma-ul Husna:

• Asmâ-ul Husnâ: The 99 names of God in Islam are the names by which Muslims regard God. A widely accepted hadith in Sahih Muslim states:
Abu Hurairah reported Allahs Messenger [Muhammad] as saying: "There are ninety-nine names of Allah; he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise.

• The Quran refers to the names of God as Gods "most beautiful Names"
See the suras "Al-Araf" (7:180), "Al-Isra" (17:110), "Ta-Ha" (20:8) and "Al-Hashr" (59:24).

• There isnt universal agreement among Muslims as to what exactly counts as a name and what does not. Additionally, while some names are only in the Quran, and others are only in the hadith, there are some names which appear in both. Different sources give different lists of the 99 names.
