Autobeacon TeenDrive Features Include:
• Passenger Restrictions: set the number of teen passengers your driver may travel with, receive notifications if there are more than allowed.
• Cell Phone Use Prevention: prevent texting and distracting app use while car is moving through a "lock-out" screen that is presented while the car is moving.
• Speed vs. Posted Speed Limit: set a threshold above the posted speed limit (ex. +10 mph) and receive notification when the threshold is exceeded.
• Seat-Belt Use Enforcement: create seat belt use requirements for the driver and front passenger and receive notifications if either is not using their seatbelt.
• Excessively Loud Music Notifications: make sure music in the car isnt being played to the point of distraction, receive notifications if the sound exceeds a safe level.

- Real-time location of the driver.

The Autobeacon TeenDrive system requires a Bluetooth Beacon to be attached to the interior of the teen drivers vehicle - no wiring or plug-ins required; and a smartphone bracket to be placed on the dashboard of the vehicle. The app allows parents to create restrictions with regards to their childrens driving behavior and receive notifications when those restrictions are broken. The parent(s) and the teen driver(s) both have the app installed on their phone, but what the parents see and can do within the app is different than what the teen driver can see and do.

When the parent logs in they can:

The teen driver logs in once during set up and should never log-out and log-in again; if he or she logs out, the system will not work properly and a notification will be sent notifying the parent of the log-out. When the driver is logged-in they can see their driving score and other statistics like total number of hours and miles driven as well as their current restriction settings. The teen driver cannot make any changes to their restriction settings. Every time the driver enters the vehicle the app will be initiated and the driver will receive a notification reminding him or her to place his or her iPhone into the smartphone bracket. After the phone is placed into the smartphone bracket the app does the rest to make sure that all restrictions are being followed. If the app is not opened or the phone is not placed in the smartphone bracket a notification is sent reporting system tampering.
