Takes the unknown out of legal!
Annoying telemarketers
These people have telemarketers call my office every few days to try to get me to participate. Im not even in a law firm; I practice in-house and do not take outside clients! I have asked them to stop calling but their telemarketers keep calling me anyway. Just beyond annoying.
Not a promising app
Dont waste your time. This app will remove any negative reviews you write about lawyers and keep the positive ones only. Good luck finding a negative review let alone writing one.
A good but not total information source
Avvo has done great things to help consumers find an attorney. This app is a logical step in making Avvos goal of providing information more seamlessly for the consumer. As the president of a County Bar Association, however, it is important for me to remind people that this app is one source of information that consumers should consider. It is hard to decide from an app alone whether you and a particular attorney will be a good fit. The wise consumer will ask for recommendations from their friends and acquaintances and take that information into consideration as well.
