What’s happening in the sky? What are those terrible and menacing clouds and what’s that roll of thunder shaking the earth? Noah received from God the order to build a houseboat where all the animals of the earth, in pairs, could be accommodated and rescued from the fearful flood caused by the wickedness of men. The tide is rising, a heavy rain is starting to fall: the time has come!
Once the Great Flood is over, Noah, his sons and his sons wives will be able to repopulate the earth and God will sign a new pact with them, a rainbow shaped alliance.
The story of the Old Testament comes to life through meaningful and colorful images. Children are told significant steps of the story tactfully, with simple words charged of expectation: the human heart grown cold and hard, the goodness of Noah and his family, the water splashing out of the ground and falling from the sky up to cover everything, and finally the hope.
The pictures are very colorful and richly detailed.
Each scene presents a chance for amusing interactions.
Professional actors tell the story with warm, captivating voices.
This story can be enjoyed in two different ways: as an Audio book and with a “read and click” function that lets you record your own voice and listen to it instead of the narrator. You read the book, or have Mom or Dad read to you, and you can even have fun trying out your pronunciation in all three languages!
