Ingenious App
In an ever increasingly technological world BigFONT is an ingenious idea for anyone experiencing problems reading small print on a smart phone screen. I found the install instructions easy and the App, which offers several font sizes, is user friendly. The App also has a very useful magnifying glass and some eye relaxing exercises to ease the tired eye. I highly recommend this App as not just nice to have, but a MUST have!

A rather fantastic app. Finally I can read the small print on mobile web pages. I also like the 3 D eye exercises.
Simple Idee mit toller Wirkung
Mit einem simplen Trick sorgt die App für eine vergrößerte Darstellung des Textes in Webseiten. Mehr aber auch nicht. Word-Texte, die man als Anhang einer Mail bekommt, werden also nicht vergrößert. Die Installation der Schriftgrößen und die Bedienung sind etwas fummelig: Man muss dasselbe Lesezeichen tatsächlich zweimal bearbeiten; um dann eine Webseite in der gewünschten Schriftgröße darzustellen, muss man sie erst aufrufen und dann das mit BigFONT erstellte Lesezeichen wählen. Insgesamt fehlt in der Präsentation im Store und in der Dokumentation ein Überblick, der die Funktionsweise und die Zusammenhänge erläutert.
Doesnt Deliver
I was excited to try this for my mother-in-law that had a hard time reading small front. Unfortunately, it doesnt work on blogs and the formatting just doesnt agree with most web pages.
This app is great!
The app makes a huge difference for me. There are so many web pages that zoom just fine, which are tough to read without the app. On some sites the formatting is off, but when I press reset font, all goes back to normal. It says in the app description - some websites dont support font scaling. Perhaps it’s just not possible to do anything about these sites. I didn’t find any other apps at all with a zoom feature for Safari. Even though it’s not a perfect solution, I’m really happy that I found this app.
