Description
Bloom, the acclaimed app by ambient pioneer Brian Eno and musician / software designer Peter Chilvers has been fully reworked to take advantage of the iPad’s larger screen.
As part of the first wave of applications for the iPhone and iPod touch in 2008, Bloom redefined musical boundaries. Part instrument, part composition and part artwork, Blooms innovative controls allow anyone to create elaborate patterns and unique melodies by simply tapping the screen. A generative music player takes over when Bloom is left idle, creating an infinite selection of compositions and their accompanying visualisations.
Bloom HD preserves the sounds and features of the original version, but adds a stylish new interface which allows the user to fully immerse themselves in the fullscreen experience or to continue to play on a smaller area while adjusting controls.
