Blown integrates traditional and digital practices, and in doing so creates a kind of craft that is more dynamic. Blown forces craft to be less monumental and more of an occurrence. Rather than a distinct piece, Blown is an approach that invites viewers to create their own digital pieces by using the simple action of blowing a cup of tea. Blown is dynamic and democratic craft.

Working beyond the constraints of material or process, Mann focuses on everyday narrative to directly form the aesthetic of his work.
