Med BMI-guide kan man beregne sit Body Mass Index (forkortet BMI), der er en matematisk formel for en sammenhæng mellem en persons højde og vægt. Det bruges til at estimere under- og overvægt:
BMI < 18.5: Undervægt
BMI = 18.5 – 25: Normal vægt
BMI = 25-30: Overvægt
BMI = 30-40: Fedme
BMI > 40: Ekstrem fedme
Da BMI bygger på almindelige, voksne personer bør estimeringen derfor ikke anvendes på børn.
Vejledning til programmet:

Indstil vægten med den sorte viser og højden med den røde viser. I feltet heruder vises BMI samt hvilken klasse det ligger i.
Hvis du trykker på + ved siden af BMI-værdien, bliver de aktuelle værdier for BMI, vægt og højde samt datoen gemt under Historie.

With BMI-guide, you can calculate the Body Mass Index (BMI), a mathematical formula for the correlation between a persons height and weight. It is used to estimate the under-and overweight:
BMI <18.5: Under Weight
BMI = 18.5 - 25: Normal weight
BMI = 25-30: Overweight
BMI = 30-40: Obesity
BMI> 40: Extreme obesity
As the BMI index is based on adults it should not be used to estimate childrens under- or overweight.
Set weight with the black hand, and the height with the red hand.
If you press the + beside the BMI value, the current values for BMI, weight, height, and the date is filed under History.
