cest dabord par curiosité que jai acheté cette carte pour Iphone : Wahooooo!!! Impressionnante de qualité et de précision . si vous avez les deux, un bateau un Iphone, surtout ne vous privez pas de cette aide supplémentaire à la nav. Je navigue en Nlle Calédonie depuis 30 ans, jai suivi lévolution de la signalisation en mer, de la cartographie, et des GPS en particulier, et ce petit + est très appréciable (vous avez un deuxième GPS en secours), à ce prix il ny a pas photo! Cette appli mérite ses 5 ***** .

Häfen fehlen
Navigation etc. klappt super. Ich hatte diese App. mit zur Tauchsafari am Roten Meer genommen. Einige Häfen, wie der von Port Ghalib bei Marsa Alam sind zwar als Symbol erfasst (durch User?). Es fehlen aber die Kartendarstellungen der Häfen, bzw. Leuchtfeuer.
Kartendownload mangelhaft
Wollte für meine Tour eine Backup Lösung auf dem IPhone. Der Karten-Download funktioniert jedoch mäßig bis überhaupt nicht. So eine Software die auf eine permanente Internetverbindung angewiesen ist macht abseits der Mobilfunknetze auf dem Meer wenig Sinn. Die Europa-Version funktioniert hingegen einwandfrei. Deshalb negative Bewertung.
Betrug, oder?
Ich habe diese Woche diese App für den dreifachen Preis gekauft - mit Neuseeland und Australien. Jetzt hat der Hersteller die Regionen geteilt, ich kann NZ und AUS nicht downloaden. Freundlich formuliert ist das Konsumentenunfreundlich, ehrlich gesagt fühle ich mich abgezockt
Careful if you need Hong Kong charts!!!!
Navionics behaves very irresponsible- without informing us they removed the HK charts. First they claimed that they will have a major upgrade. Later they admitted that they do not own the license to use the digital charts. If you upgrade your plotter the charts will also be gone. No idea which other areas they also publish illegally.
Great app but need to download detail charts...
this is a great app for back up navigation, but you have to download bit by bit to get full details of the charts. It is very time consuming and could be avoided if it was available for a full computer download and then synched to the iphone. I read a negative rating from someone else, complaining about the lack of details for navigation. He was partially right, because the charts received after purchase has no details necessary for navigation and you have to open each small area, when on the web, to acquire the details, a bit like on Google earth. This is the reason I give it a 3 out of 5, even if the app itself is very good and would deserve a 5...
