The evolution of Boogaloo Mountain Jam is entirely organic in its progression with each of the three art cars offering a little something different, guaranteeing that every palete will be pleased. Charlie the Unicorn Art Car will feature artists from DJ DAN, divaDanielle and Joeski representing house music, disco, new disco and garage. The Boogaloo Art Car spotlights artists such as The Funk Hunters, Fort Knox Five, Worthy and Pumpkin which feature a funky and illustrious multi-genre experience. The Jabba Barge features a radical disposition, which includes heavy bass music and a Funktion-One sound system that will be going HAM to artists such as An-Ten-Nae, GJones and Stylust Beats.
The Dirty Beetles are showing how deep the nets of their musical taste go. A pass to the three day art-car festival from Friday to Sunday includes camping, filtered water, workshops, yoga and four stages of local and national musicians and DJs. On Sunday the three Art Cars will link sound systems for the first Boogaloo barbeque benefit with a portion of the proceeds going to StandUp for Kids, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990. Its mission is to help rescue homeless and at-risk youth in America. Simply put, Boogaloo Mountain Jam is a family-friendly event run by a family of friends. Our goal is to spark and support creativity within the community to ignite the same change on a grander scale in our society.
