How can you write "magnificent" with 3 letters?  Brevity.
Brevity helps you write text several times faster.  It works on the principle that most words can by uniquely identified using less letters than they actually contain and it lets you write them that way.  Just start typing a word using the first letter or first consonant and continue writing any letter in the word in the proper order. Brevity will automatically list all the possible matches, which you can then select (e.g. you can write "misunderstanding" by just typing the following sequences:  "msndr", "miudr", etc).  If a word is not already present in a dictionary, simply write it out and Brevity will remember it the next time you type it. It also remembers the frequency of words you use and sorts all matches accordingly, letting you write most words using 1, 2 or 3 letters.  Not only is Brevity great for native speakers of the supported languages (see the list below), but also for non-native speakers as you dont need to know the exact spelling in order to write the word.  It also saves time with languages that use diacritics as you will be able to skip them in most cases.

Cool beans!

Not a fan of so-called text completion apps, but this is sweet and, as Maude Lebowski would say: thorough. So easy and useful to use, youd be remiss not to try!

Brevity Rates 5 stars

This is one of the most useful aps available today! What a fine idea and quite practical. I recommend this highly.

Try it. Youll like it!!

Great app. Does what it says. Very easy to use. Too bad this cant integrate directly with iMessage, as I wish other apps could.

Pretty cool

Great for bad spellers

Needs more work

This would be a great app with some refining. When I started to type the word last that word did not come up until I typed las. When I typed la, I got a choice of las which is not a word. The concept is great, especially for individuals with fine motor difficulties and with refinements and settings would be worth paying for.

Only works for really long words

It only adds efficiency for really wrong words. iOSs built in autocomplete/spellchecker does a better job without you having to separately tap to choose from the match menu it prompts you with at every single word, which is anyway highly disruptive if youre trying to write anything. Make it an enhanced autocomplete where you dont have to choose from a menu.
