Með einföldum íslenskum raddskipunum getur notandinn vafrað um fréttir og fréttatengt efni RÚV. Efnið sem Broddi spilar eru hljóðupptökur og því er framsetning og áferð efnisins mjög aðgengileg.
Flettu í gegnum fréttirnar þegar þú ert með hendur og augu upptekin í öðru, t.d. í bílnum. Ef þú nennir ekki að hlusta á núverandi frétt, þá segir þú bara „Broddi, næsta!“ Þú getur spilað, stoppað, bakkað, farið áfram í dagskránni, valið næstu frétt og næsta fréttatíma með einföldum raddskipunum.

Using simple voice commands the user can browse news and news related content from RÚV. The contents accessible in Broddi are recordings of the highest quality, presented in a convenient way. Users can navigate through broadcasts when their hands, and eyes, are busy e.g. when driving. If a user is not interested in listening to the current article he just says: "Broddi, næsta!”.
You can play, pause, fast forward, chose the next news item with simple voice commands.
