More than 30 years ago we saw the birth of the most popular financial calculator ever created--you probably had one (and probably still do!).
Calculator12 puts a rock solid emulation of that calculator on your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, whether you need it for school or are looking to retire old faithful. What you get is true (albeit non-programmable) emulation with 100% compatible operation keystroke for screentap and computational and operational reliability every bit as good as the original.
But wait, theres more! (sorry about that). Calculator12 is not stuck in the 80s. You have the option to work with cash flows in the cash flow diagram format, changing values or inserting/deleting cash flows with just a tap. Three independent cash flow scenarios can be evaluated side-by-side, and with capital multiplication you can evaluate an exit strategy for outside investors. Results can be emailed from Calculator12 so you dont have to redo things like an amortization schedule or comparative investment report at your lap or desktop.
And you can see what was once hidden... the contents of the financial registers or optionally the stack are always displayed. For me at least confirming the accuracy of my entries relieves a lot of anxiety and prevents confusion when the results dont stack up. Its not programmable, but advance payment leasing functions have been pre-programmed in as well as conversions to APR and Effective Rate to fill some of the gaps. And it is blisteringly fast--what used to take 30 seconds now is done almost before your finger leaves the touchscreen.
Calculator12 was the very first emulator of that physical machine on the App Store, v1.0 released July 30th of 2008, introducing features (now almost universally copied) that take advantage of the unique features of iOS to improve your ability to deal with financial problem solving. Calculator 12 vs calc12 Sci
Comme je lai commenté sur la "calc12 Sci".... Jadore cette calculette "à la polonaise" MAIS jai acheté: la "Calc 12" et je ne comprends pas exactement la différence de prix entre les deux... Jai payé la "Calc 12" +- 15 Brouzoufs (Euros) alors que la "calc12 Sci" vaut +- 5 (Euros) AUJOURDHUI (9 22 08). Pourquoi? Je ne comprends pas exactement la différence entre les deux. Enfin jai ma HP originelle (un genre de) et JE SUIS CONTENT. Not SO expensive vs 3 batteries for my old vintage HP.... So!
Il y a nettement mieux et moins cher !
Cet émulateur HP 12 a eu le mérite dêtre le premier sur lApp store. Le design nest pas extraordinaire voire brouillon, il manque laffichage imitation LCD et certaines touches non pas de fonction. Depuis, des applis concurrentes ont vu le jour, font mieux et sont moins chères, voire beaucoup moins chères. Na meme plus le look dune 12c ! Je crois que un lifting de A à Z de cet appli est nécessaire, avec une sérieuse baisse de prix.

Wer den HP 12 kennt wird begeistert sein!
Endlich nur noch ein Gerät in der Tasche. Der HP 12 kann im Büro bleiben. Ausser der Programmierung ist alles vorhanden. Super! Mein erster HP 12 kostete 450.- DM und heute immer noch ca. 140.- €. So ist der Preis von 15,99 € OK.. Für mich 5 Punke und mehr wert.

When I found this, I fell in love, but then I found another app with all the buttons on the 12c for free, then I kicked myself. Good calculator though. App has been updated, star rating changed accordingly!

不揮発性メモリーをクリアするためのコマンド 「－」（マイナスキー）を押したまま「ON」キーを押して「ON」キーを先に放す。 そうすると、液晶に「Pr Error」と表示してリセットされる仕様が正しくエミュレートされていないようです。 よく出来ているだけにココも対応していただきたいです。 次のアップデートに期待します。また、M.DY、D.MYキーも機能としてはあるようですが、ボタンに表示したほうがいいと思います。 あと、ｆやｇもせっかく色分けのボタンがあるのにプリントしたほうがいいと思います。
