We created this app based on the literature of psychology and color Illuminating Engineering Society. This app may be helpful in helping to resolve anxiety and changing the mood of the room.
The CalmEssence outputs a gentle color and light.You can taste a gentle light. The gentle light can be applied to a ceiling or a wall. And also you can use it as mood lighting.

◾ practical use cases 1: bedroom or meditation
We tend to gather our thoughts because of darkness. If bedroom is wrapped in a warm light, we will be easy to forget the worldly thoughts that interfere with sleep.
◾ practical use cases 2: Bathing
You can relax in the bath light in the dark. (Please use the waterproof case) try to accompany long bath.
◾ A practical use cases 3 : Mood Light
This app can be used as a mood lighting in the corner of the room. Try it on when you want to relax.
note1. Relationship with melatonin, color, light and the CalmEssence
Melatonin is well known as hormone which invites sleep. The amount of secretion is adjusted in response to light. And then, melatonin is said to raise secretion more by making the room dark. However, in the dark room, the sympathetic nerve may become predominance sensitively about uneasiness or strain mentally, and it may cause insomnia. The CalmEssence produces a relaxed effect with a warm color light called low color temperature for the parasympathetic nerve.
The blue it is supposed that is generally settled down is the light of a high color temperature. Though High color temperatures is supposed to hard to sleep, you can enjoy any color as you like by liking. Although the CalmEssence is mainly referring to the literature of the Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan, in color psychology, it is supposed that blue colors is a relaxed effect.

防水ケースに入れて入浴時に利用してます。 ただ、このアプリ上で画面の明るさを調整すると、通常使用時の画面の明るさ設定がおかしくなる様です。 当方iPhone4s(iOS6)を使用しております。
画面の明るさ調整は
メイン画面右上の太陽みたいなマークのボタンを押すと、起動時の明度に戻せますよ！ 明度が気になるときは、使い終えるときにボタンを押すと戻ります。

Calming
This app is just great. Bright enough to cast a dim light on the ceiling. I hardly ever make it to the second color. Love how it helps you breath and is very customizable. Great app!!
