The app provides the option to have the timer in a 0-100km/h / 0-60mph mode or in a 0-50km/h / 0-30mph, have it record the top speed in km/h or mph, or a completely custom run that you set, meaning that no matter where you are and no matter what car you have, you can always rely on the Car Timer to track your cars performance.
And now, the app can even track 1/4 or 1/8 mile (0-400m or 0-200m) runs, making Car Timer one of the most complete app of its kind on the Store today!
Inside the app, there is an option to share your results so that you can show your friends just how fast your car is. For computing the precise time it takes your car to achieve the required speed, the app uses some clever techniques to estimate just when the speed is reached, as the GPS is only providing updates about the speed about once a second once you start moving.
