Description
CarProof RECON is a tool created for Canadian vehicle dealers to assist in calculating reconditioning costs on a vehicle, including a breakdown of the standard parts, materials and labour hours associated with the repairs. Dealers can manually enter common reconditioning costs such as safety inspections and detailing, while damage and replacement estimates are powered by Mitchell’s industry-leading parts and labour database (the same data an insurance company uses to write an estimate). CarProof RECON generates easy to understand reconditioning estimates that are accurate, verifiable and readily accepted throughout the industry, which in turn offers transparency in the reconditioning process. CarProof RECON further integrates into a dealer’s workflow by generating consumer disclosure documents, capturing photos and generating a condition report, which can then be transferred electronically to online auctions.
CarProof RECON is available to all CarProof Dealer Members and partners in Canada. A username and password from CarProof is required.
