This app does not require a internet connection to read the bible. The entire bible will be on your device after you download the app. App features include:

Released on March 9, 2011, the New American Bible, Revised Edition (NABRE) is the culmination of nearly 20 years of work by a group of nearly 100 scholars and theologians, including bishops, revisers and editors. The NABRE includes a newly revised translation of the entire Old Testament (including the Book of Psalms) along with the 1986 edition of the New Testament.
The NABRE is a formal equivalent translation of Sacred Scripture, sponsored by the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, using the best manuscripts available. Work on most books of the Old Testament by forty revisers and a board of eight editors began in 1994 and was completed in 2001. The 1991 revision of the Psalter, the work of thirty revisers and six editors, was further revised by seven revisers and two editors between 2009 and 2010.

AAAAAAHHHHH! No, (sorry, Im just so frustrated) I got the app (payed) and I got stuck when I first opened the app, I should be able to put in the book, chapter, and verse (book chapter:verse) and jump there in the bible. Until then the app is pretty useless. Except if youre willing to search through all the books.

Terrible page movement makes reading the Bible a penance. Worst part is being unable to remove bookmarks

Excellent improvement on the footnotes
The latest edition is much better than the previous. It is easier to activate the footnotes than before, which is very important to me. It would be better if you can make the * for footnotes bigger. It would be useful if you can make further improvements to the daily mass readings. Now it is quite useless for traveling to different time zones. It would be best to allow the user to choose the date for the daily readings. Also, reading through highlighted broken (excerpts) sentences could be frustrating as I have missed some parts of the reading when the highlights are far apart.
Readings of the day
Few times the readings of the day doesnt appear. I also click on the "reading the bible in a year" and I can only read the Day 1. How do I proceed? Eleanor
