This calculation comes useful when targeting a certain engine RPM with a given tire, trans-gear and differential gear-ratio for highway cruising or quarter-mile passes.
* Engine RPM @ MPH
This one is the opposite of the first one. This one comes handy to experiment with different tire-size, trans-gear and differential gear ratio combinations to reach a certain vehicle speed and keep the engine RPM within a given range for controlling MPG, engine noise, exhaust tone, etc.
