Why this app: Salsa music really begins to make sense when you know how the patterns of the various instruments go together. This app was built with this in mind! Clave Master allows you to easily choose a pattern by tapping on the music staff or by long-pressing the tap pads. Choose "None" on one thumb to get a single pattern mastered, then up the ante by adding a different pattern to the other tap pad!
Start at a slow tempo, work diligently to learn the patterns against one another, and you will gain a deep understanding of how the patterns in salsa music function together. You will dance better, you will play better, and you will begin to FEEL the clave!
