I was a little skeptical about this app at first. Why would I need an app just to act in place of the timer? But wow, its such a well thought out companion to the physical game. You can essentially use it as the key code generator, as well as a timer and score keeper, with tons of variables to play the game in your favourite variation. Kudos to the game developers for coming up with this great addition to a great game.

Awesome game companion
Perfect Companion App
This is a very simple and easy to use app that fits perfectly with Codenames. It adds a huge degree of functionality and saves us the trouble of using the Key Cards. The best part is how the app uses the phones sensors to tell whether its laying flat. This is a brilliant use of the gyroscope that really helps with a game like this.
Falta idiomas
This application is great for the game what happens is that it lacks more languages that costs nothing to include. Esta aplicación esta de maravilla para el juego lo que le pasa es que le falta mas idiomas que no cuesta nada incluirlos

Awesome Gadget for an Awesome Game
I love how simple the app is and how easily it works with the game. Using it on IPad is awesome as the two spymasters dont have to pass the key card back and forth. I especially like the auto-hide feature so you can lay the iPad down!
Starting color
The app is great and the card generation works very well. Would be great if they could also include the starting color on the sides or something, similar to how they have it on the physical cards.
Perfect gadget for Spymasters
Much easier to view and interpret than the small key cards. Each spymaster can have his own copy of the keycard by inputting the game number. Auto hide is a helpful must!
