Good!

A nice little app. As there are no other reviews on this, I thought I would write an in-depth one. Positives - Is nicely laid out and it is easy to find the category you are looking for. The speakers are both native speakers and they speak naturally. There were more phrases than I expected and everything is completely bilingual (can easily change one to the other.) The application is quick to open and runs smoothly and without any delays. Has many useful phrases and the dictionary looks to be quite extensive. Negatives - Would be nice to get an option for furigana (or romaji) in the japanese parts, as if you dont know the kanji you are left guessing. The dictionary also doesnt have any examples (although you can easily search for examples by entering in a word ie help gives you 7 example sentences using the word.) It just has the word and its direct translation. It is perhaps a little expensive, but I dont feel ripped off like when I have bought other apps, not bad for the price. Would be nice to see more examples in a future update. Overall a good application and with an update it would be a great one. I am using it to improve my (poor) conversation skills, and it is good for checking how do I say that...? I think it would be ideal for someone who doesnt speak any Japanese at all, and they could use it in a restaurant etc to get their point across. It would be great for a basic communication tool.. especially when you have a problem! 4 stars!
