Stoichiometry or "grams-to-moles" calculations can be some of the most tedious chemistry problems. Mistakes are easily made as you look up atomic information and type them in your calculator.
Compounds solves these problems with ease and clarity using the technology of the iPhone.
Touch a compound to edit. Touch elements to type. Shake to mix. Compounds does one thing and does it well, with a little style.
How it works:
1.Add molecules to the beaker by pressing the “+” button.
2.Touch a molecule to select it.
3.Rotate the iPhone to bring up the Periodic Table keyboard.
4.Type in the molecular formula.
5.Rotate the iPhone to dismiss the Period Table.
6.Enter any coefficients.
7.Shake! to solve.
8.Adjust the amount in grams of any compound and see the results immediately.

Subscripts are displayed as subscripts, not numbers of equal font size.
