Amaze your friends with your proverbial prowess.

What was that?

Crime cannot buy happiness? Or was it Happiness doesn’t pay?

Sage can provide you with hours of random insanity disguised as sage advice with flashes of amazingly sensible counsel.

Can your iPhone keep you from doing something crazy? Probably not, but when you are on the precipice of folly the Sage will always have something to say about it.

Words of wisdom from Benjamin Franklin and King Solomon’s jumbled with old laws from Murphy and adages from Grandma.

Sage is an amusing application that takes short pithy sayings and concatenates them with randomly selected portions of other sayings to form new, occasionally senseless and frequently accurate proverbs.

Should you go on a skiing trip with the Swedish Volleyball team? The Sage may tell you that “The pursuit of happiness breeds contempt”. Press the button for another adage and the Sage might just remember to mention that “Jealousy is a joy forever”. If you still think that the skiing trip is a good idea, try the Sage one more time and learn that “A thing of beauty corrupts absolutely”.

Sage is based on an concept described by Charles Platt from “Make” Magazine #15, “Make Your PC (Seem) Intelligent”.

Was muss man da machen?

I wann mal Gebraucht werden.

Absolut grandios!
