Czech Spa Resorts is published in association with Czech Tourist Authority - CzechTourism, a state agency of the Ministry of Regional Development. CzechTourism promotes the Czech Republic as an attractive tourist destination abroad as well as on the domestic market.
The spa industry in the Czech Republic has a tradition dating back hundreds of years. According to an old custom, throwing a coin into the therapeutic springs gave thanks for the recuperation they provided.
