DanKam is a iPhone app that displays video from the camera (among other sources), remixed so that its a lot easier for the color blind to see colors, and the differences between colors, more accurately.

Crashes on iphone4
Hi everybody! Downloaded this app 2 weeks ago. The ishihara modes or the "load image from gallery" mode crash the app or block the iphone. The image area goes black and there is no reaction to controls. When it comes to support, the provided e-mail address from dankam is not working. You just get the standard mailer deamon, couldnt reach destination crap. And apple is also extraordinarily helpful. When i asked for a refund, i was told to contact dankam :-| Tried that, wrong mail address, but i cant submit a second problem-report on the same problem. Just so professional, apple, thanks. As for the reader: Save your time and your 2.50, dont buy this app!
Funktioniert sehr gut, Support für größere Geräte fehlt
Mit meiner Rot-Grün-Schwäche habe ich die App schon häufiger erfolgreich genutzt, um Karten und Diagramme mit unglücklicher Farbgebung zu dekodieren. Auch im Freundeskreis haben die verschiedenen Modi für Interesse gesorgt. Einziger Schwachpunkt ist die fehlende Unterstützung für die größeren Displays von iPhone 4 und neuer. Die App funktioniert, wird aber mit schwarzen Rändern dargestellt. Das ist schade.
Not sure how to use the app
Great idea but need improvements. It does not have initial setup or tutorial. Not sure if I need to adjust anything or if I should just use it as is. Color blind people are usually not confident if they see colors correctly, so an initial set up will help and will assure the user that the application is working for him.
Virtually useless
Doesnt help one bit. The filters change the colours to other tones that I still cant confidently differentiate. Minimal instructions or explanations. Useless in normal room light without a flash. Dont waste the $. Maybe soon some other developer will get it right.
Skeptical initially, but it actually works
I am red green color blind since birth. 42 years old who score 0/10 in ishihara color test. Looking through the filter, I score 10/10. So happy!!!!
Absolutely incredible
As someone whos lived with colour blindness for 35 years, I can say this app is truly amazing. To finally know for sure what colour something is, its mind-blowing. Thank you.
