Im a first time user of a meter for my smart phone and so far Im liking not having to write down all my blood sugar checks and how small and handy it is. Although being someone who has gone 13 years measuring in mmol/L I was kinda disappointed when I couldnt change the setting in the app to measure in mmol/L instead of mg/dL. If that could be changeable that would make this app much better for many young Canadians such as myself who learned to check in mmol/L. Thanks!

Mg/dL to mmol/L option
Add ability to record oral medication
I also love not having to write down the amount of insulin I take four times a day and my sugar readings. This app is also great for recording any exercise you do and other notes. You can also manually enter in glucose readings that you might be taking on a different monitor which is great. One thing Id highly recommend is the ability to record oral medications since many people with diabetes are on both insulin and oral medication. I currently record this in the notes section however I feel it needs to be more prominently available on this machine before I would give it a five star rating.
A good meter app
Must talk to healthkit, must read from the activity app. Does not sync with web portal. Dont go cheap on the app just because you ewant to sell strips.
No Connection to Apple Heath App
Without a connection to the Heath app this is really useless. Diabetics use multiple thing and devices to track their Heath.
Great compared to iHealth meters
Just got it few days back after using the ihealth meter for the iphone for few months. This is a piece of cake compared to the finicky ihealth meter. Highly recommend as i have had 100% success on meter and app working at startup everytime for the first 6 days i have had it. Use it twice a day! Less blood and instant results.
Dario is a Fun BG Meter and App
I received my meter and Im having fun with it. Only thing missing for now is a built-in lancer cartridge (I use Multi Clix) I think a lancer cartridge would truly make the meter an all-in-one. I would buy it again if that function were to be added. Yes it may increase size but if you designed perhaps not so much. The app is fun. Im in my initial stages of getting used to it. Will comment more later. You can download and set up the app to get used to it b/f ordering your meter currently at a reduced price $19.99. The developer is aware that the ordering MySupplies function in the app is not working properly. Hopefully fixed next update. At this time no carry case is offered to store lancers. Try an eyeglasses case, old meter case, Baggie, drawstring pouch if you need it, etc.
