Our neighborhoods and cities are full of scenic routes that we love to run through and ride along, but usually they are not conveniently laid out in distances that we like. DownNBack tries to solve this niche problem by specializing in reminding you when to turn around so that you end up where you started.
For example, lets say you have a 2 mile loop in your neighborhood, starting at your house, and you want to practice your 5K (3.11 miles) distance. The first time round the loop is fine, but then what do you do? Do you run that 1.11 miles away and then trek all the way back home? Do you annoyingly look at your other running app(s) every 10 seconds to watch for when you need to turn around? No! Just press the DownNBack button where you want to end up and it will automatically do the math for you, while also conveniently reminding you when to turn around so that you can stay focused on the more important things like your breathing, pace, surroundings, etc.
