DragonBox Numbers brings math to life by turning numbers into colorful and relatable characters, called Nooms. The Nooms can be stacked, sliced, combined, sorted, compared and played with, any way your child pleases.
The app contains 4 different activites for your child to explore, each designed to challenge your child to use the Nooms and basic math in a different way.
The "Sandbox" section of the game is designed to let your child explore and experiment with the Nooms. Its also the perfect tool for parents and teachers to explain basic math concepts to kids.
In the "Puzzle" section, your child will use basic math to create their own puzzle pieces, and place them in the right spot to reveal a hidden picture. Every move your child makes reinforces number sense. Your child will perform thousands of operations while solving the 250 puzzles.
In the "Ladder" section, your child will have to think strategically to build larger numbers. Your child will develop an intuitive understanding of how larger numbers relate to small numbers, and practice basic math strategies every step of the way.
In the "Run" section, your child will have to direct the Noom down a path using quick mental calculations. Your child can use their fingers, Nooms or numerals to jump over obstacles. This activity reinforces your childs number sense and trains their ability to quickly recognise and add numbers.

Kein Deutsch
Ein Kinderprogramm, zumal ein so teures muss einfach in Deutsch sein. Zumal die Lokalisation kaum was kosten dürfte bei so wenig gesprochenen Worten. Bin enttäuscht, da ich ansonsten viel von Dragonbox halte. Ein Bonus wäre es auch, wenn die mit den Zahlen korrespondierenden Farben am Montessori-System orientiert wären.

Я как мама в восторге от игры: столько всего в одной игре уместилось и так грамотно подобрано! И зарабатывание денег и несколько вариантов игр (гонки, паззлы, "башенки"...) Грамотные усложнения. Мне и ребенку очень понравились персонажи. Очень здорово! Совсем не пожалела о потраченных деньгах.
One of the best apps ever created, anywhere.
This is seriously one of the best apps in the history of apps. I love the way it teaches numbers and maths without looking like anything other than a really fun and super cute game. We love the Nooms, and my daughter likes to talk about them like, "what is brown plus green"? I LOVE that!!!! I would rate it higher if I could!

My 3 yo adores this app and has learned so much. As an educator Im excited that it is much more then memorizing facts or basic recall- it really gets to the heart of what makes a number a number. So great. Anyway, I was incredibly disappointed when I pulled out my Cuisenaire rods and the colors are not the same! It seemed like such an obvious extension, yet my son was so confused by the color change when we tried to do puzzles together. A real missed opportunity there.
