DropIn is an on-demand live video/photo platform for insurance policy acquisition and management.
The DropIn Drones application provides the insurance industrys first to market solution for deploying drones to help speed up the process of property underwriting and claims via live video and audio.
Using our desktop platform, an insurance professional enters in the address of their claim. Then, the closest Droperator who is certified to operate drones commercially, is notified via a pop-up on their smartphone. The Droperator then accepts the assignment and deploys to the location. When the Droperator is within 100 feet of the destination, the screen changes to “launch” letting them know they can start recording. The Droperator is able to communicate with the insurance professional and capture all requested photos and video of the damaged property.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
