Unlock the music you always wanted to play or sing by studying perfect and relative pith. Having Perfect pitch means the ability to recognize what note is playing. Relative pitch means beeing able to recognize chords and the tension between two notes. Perfect and relative pitch is nothing that you are born with, it can be trained.

This application contains samples of clean electric guitar (Gibson Lucille, Les Paul) and piano and includes single notes, melody, intervals, chords, arpeggios and scales. All chords comes in 4 variations, intervals in 5 and single note in 4 variations. Arpeggios and Scales have 3 variations and are currently only available with piano.

When I was a kid, I remember spending over 60 USD on tapes that just explained the theory on how to aquire perfect pitch alone, without any practicing help. This applications will do just the opposite, helping you practice your perfect pitch and relative pitch. All for a fraction of standard help courses.

Here you will be quizzed on the current set of notes (or intervals or chords) that you have selected. The success rate for the specific test will be shown as well as the success rate for the whole session.

The full version covers the following sets:
* Full range notes, 4 octaves
* Full range intervals, 5 variations
* 25+ scales, 3 variations
* 35+ chords and arpeggios (4 and 3 variations)
* Melody full range notes and jumps

Avarice !

Maravilha

Almost perfect

Hi there, I like your app very much because it is challenging me more than other comparable apps. But there is something bothering me a lot: lets say i want to test my chord skills with all possible chord options turned on. When i let the piano play the arpeggio it plays for example a maj7 chord in c. If i then switch to chord mode, it plays the same chord in another key. No problem with a maj7 but a huge problem with something more tricky like a 11/13... It just changes the key and this is very confusing to me. Other than that it is a beautiful app! It would be nice of you if you could fix that issue anyway.

Wish I

This is the perfect supplement to the David Lucas Burge ear training cds. I used to sit tied to my keyboard for hours. Wish Id had this then so I couldve taken it with me and done my ear training in the park or coffee shop. It has all the options you could want for perfect/relative pitch ear training. A few places for improvement... - dont understand the green and red rating things. What do they mean? good, bad. I cant tell. - would love to be able to switch to a regular piano sound but I know thatd be a big addition - would love the ability to hear intervals down, not just up, and then randomly switch up/down - wish I could play the sample again anytime rather than having to wait till its faded out first - of course, stats tracking would be great Other than that, this app is wonderful and Im so happy to find something like it. Ill be spending hours with it doing the lessons from the perfect/relative pitch supercourse. No more closing my eyes and pretending I cant feel which key Ive hit. Thanks for making this.

Great app!

Really great ear trainer! The only reason why I havent rated it 5/5 star is because, when in the chord mode, it doesnt show you the pitch of the chord it played after you answered it. (please, add this function, it would make this app the perfect guitar trainer!). The lack of loop playback is also a little annoying, but the overall is really great! Thanks!
