Excellent DjVu interface/functionality, not good for much else
I am a former librarian and an expert on books. This app is an excellent way to view large DjVu-format ebooks on your iPhone or iPod touch, in particular on older devices with slower processors. Djvu files generally load a lot more quickly than PDF files for the same content. DjVu versions of some, though not all, public domain books are readily available on Archive.org, though they are not available on Google Books. You will not be able to use Tables of Contents interactively with DjVu files, because DjVu files do not have them! Keep that in mind. For longer books, images, even high-resolution color page images on second-generation hardware, load relatively quickly, but you will have to keep track of page numbers in your head. So, if you want to get to page 1 in a book that has a 10 page preface, you will manually have to tell the program to go to page 11. Thankfully, the bookmarking feature works. The file manager functionality the author talks about is there, but the interface is counterintuitive. You have to think carefully about how to get files onto the device and how to manipulate them; the functions are not easily discoverable. PDF functionality is also there, but the program lacks features such as Table of Contents present in other apps.

When I updated to 3.2.1 version of software for Ipod it worked, so its not for the earlier versions. I just started using it and its great, light, easy to use and easy to view the pages. The transfer is fast, after I figured out that the URL is the actual URL you put in the address of your browser. I wish Stanza was that easy to import files and no need for a desktop app to install. So far not so good
Just got the application and it is not going well. I create directories and they seemed to have corrupted names. I went into a subfolder and IT DOES NOT EVEN say what subfolder you are in. I tried uploading a document and it stalled. The browser title even has the wrong name "Easy TXT reader" when I am using the DJVU reader. Even the help has misspelled words like "Broser". This looks like an "Amature" app. The screen shots looked great. That is why I picked it but the Browser tools are a high school programing project. I hope they fix it soon otherwise I just wasted 99 cents
