A unified app for clinical alarms, alerts, and patient-centric text messaging, Engage Mobile™ is the smartphone application companion to the Extension Engage enterprise alarm management and event response solution. Trusted by more than 200 hospitals in the U.S., Engage is optimized for use in acute care nursing environments.
The mobile point-of-care solution assists the entire care team in managing patient events and care team collaboration through advanced technologies. At the core of the solution is a sophisticated clinical rules engine that intelligently prioritizes and delivers contextual alarm and alert notifications to the appropriate caregiver on their Apple iPhone®. Alarm and patient context (alarm details, patient demographics, lab results, and more) helps the notification recipient to identify the best course of treatment. Caregiver context - like credentials and availability - provided by a real-time care team directory helps to facilitate timely and well-orchestrated event responses. This reduces delays in patient intervention and improves patient outcomes.
With Engage Mobile for Apple iPhone, clinical staff can take advantage of unprecedented event context and care team visibility.
